1. Overview

Several 2028 Democratic presidential candidates were active on Twitter. California Governor Gavin Newsom highlighted wildfire prevention efforts funded by climate investments. Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro expressed gratitude for support after an arson attack, while also highlighting support for the state's agriculture industry, announcing $500 million secured for site development, stating, "Here in Pennsylvania, we’re literally turning dirt into jobs." Maryland Governor Wes Moore touted the signing into law the Excellence in Public Schools Act, and his partnership with poverty-fighting organizations.
